To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. A typical appointment time is 30 minutes, however some appointments like first time clients or behavioral consults may be longer. Progress exams to evaluate the course of treatment and progress of care on pets recently seen, may be shorter. If you need more time with the veterinarian, please advise our Client Relations Specialist at the time you shedule your appointment. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For your convenience, "admit" appointments are available. An "admit" appointment means you bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours or for the day. Day boarding or hospitalization may apply. Usually we will ask you to arrive sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, he/she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, pets may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the lobby.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. A treatment plan outlining expected care and costs associated with this care, for every pet who is admitted to our hospital. If you would like a treatment plan for exam room care and services, please request one upon entry. We are happy to provide this for you.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, debit cards, cash and personal checks (with authorization). We can keep your credit card on file if you prefer. Please ask our Client Relations Specialist for more information
Patient Arrival Policy
Dogs have their own entrance and their own lobby! Please enter thru the left door and say hi to our greeter. For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
Cats have their own entrance and their own lobby! Cats and their parents can enter the clinic thru the door on the right. Our cat lobby follows the cat prints on the floor and is in a quieter, peaceful area directly adjacent to our cat only exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
